Since you are taking an Accounting class I can only assume your major is something worthless.

You're my boy, Blue!

Boomer... how long have you been going to college? :p

Started spring 07 in architectural drafting...quickly realized that wasn't for me, (no artistic vision) and switched to business management/accounting/bookkeeping. The trick is gonna be to find someone who will hire a mid-50's bookkeeper with an AS degree and no actual experience...and a disabled ex-crane operator at that!

What should I do, I'm in panic mode right now and know absolutely NOTHING. BTW the class is Intermediate Accounting II

Call in sick! Go to the doctor's office and pretend you have food poisoning. That you've thrown up, etc. FAKE IT to SELL IT! Then get the doctor's note (don't tell them you have an exam or else they'll catch wind of it).

Skip the exam since you'd fail anyway (unless you feel confident enough to pass, which is difficult with Accounting in a short time frame). Contact the PRof. over a specific time frame. First, email him after exam then make a personal visit a couple of days later when "you get better" promising to furnish the note. SELL IT!

The prof. may be cynical about it, but he has NO CHOICE than to give you a make-up exam lest you go to the Dean and promise to escalate! Deans ALWAYS make things better even if a bastard Prof. gives you a "no" or some other shit.

Other than self-inflicted injury, you're screwed. Sucks that you screwed yourself by failing so late. I did it in my first year.

Any of the intermediate accounting classes are courses you NEED to do the work in. The only way you will learn that material is if you do it over and over again.

BTW, whats your major?

I'm guessing Accounting since he's in Intermediate. Our Business GE only requires financial and managerial accounting.

Yeah we want to know if it was just a fail, or an epic fail.

Hah, all you people with your brain thinkin' final exams.

I've often went into an exam thinking I'm gonna get pwned and it almost always turns out just fine, or even good. Depends the class, but I've found that doing well on the final had not much to do with knowing the material presented over the entire semester.

You know you been on atot for a long time when you expect at least one of these in April!

But BullyCanadian, you'll do good and don't blow a gasket. Remember a test is just a test. The true test is growing up, feeding yourself and your family and not being stuck face first in a garbage disposal unit in downtown Manhattan.

Yup, 18 hours of accounting and all I learned was hire someone who likes to do this shit. Memorization was the only thing that saved me. The thing that pissed me off the most is that no one would ever ask questions. I mean come on, accounting in no way shape or form comes under the heading of common sense and it's only relationship to math is that they both use numbers. So, debit the fail and credit the lazy.

Good thing you didn't go into tax.

God I love tax.

<--- tax CPA, specializing in state and local tax. :D

Seriously. There's been enough of this lately, just tell us what happened already. Holding out isn't funny, it doesn't make you an AT legend, it just makes you stupid.

I have my Accounting 2 final tomorrow afternoon at 12:00pm. I'm not sure how its going to go, I'm studying right now (between neffing). I've done relatively decent in the class, only having missed one lecture. I think I'll end up with a B, which I would be very satisfied with. If I get a C, its not the end of the world. At least it will be done :)
