I have my bookkeeping final tomorrow morning. It's been a tough semester in this class for me...I've had to learn all new stuff, and in fact, I had to unlearn things along the way...(like the whole debits are actually credits to an account, and credits are actually debits to accounts...except when they're not...(you know...debit cards deduct from your bank account...but credit cards don't credit your account!) The monk who thought this shit up must have really been drunk at the time!
I THINK I'm ready for the final...the closing entries and reversing entries is a bit sketchy, but I SHOULD pass...
I've never tried the whole "skip lecture, don't open the book" thing. (in fact, since I started class Jan. 07, I've only missed one class) Not sure that'd be successful for me. I bust my ass, study, do all the homework, (usually twice or three times trying to grasp stuff) and in MOST classes, if I'm not the points leader, I'm at least one of the top 3-5.
I can't help but wonder why bother going to school, paying the fees/tuition/books, then not going to class or doing the work...I know for me, the information doesn't enter the brain by osmosis just from having the text in the room...
