from Insanelymac "If anyone is using OS X with TV or HDMI connection, there is a bug in the update (including Apple computers) that doesn't allow the native resolution of the display"

anyone having this problem?

I don't think it's a bug (but don't quote me on that), I think it's just that .7 offers the new "TV resolutions" like 1920x1080 vs. 1920x1200. I'm looking more into it tonight.

It's not a problem for me. I'll post a screenie in a sec.
Screenie

Dell 2005 FPW @ 1680x1050 as the main monitor, Toshiba RV525U 40" LCD @ 1920x1080@60Hz as the secondary running Plex.

Odd problem for me when installing through the updater. Stops downloading after 50mb and comes up with a warning saying it might have been tampered with.

I just moved out of my dorm. My Mac Mini isn't hooked up yet, but thanks for the heads up!

After installing the update, machine restarted and went into a weird loop, "blue screen, loading circle", repeat. It went on for a good 15 minutes before I crossed my fingers and forced a shutdown by hitting the power button.

Computer then restarted twice before finally bringing up the desktop. Everything seems okay so far.

yeah, mine did the same. I downloaded it from Kaido's link. Weird. It tanked a bit when it finally did boot but it's running fine now. Glitches like this are to be expected with service packs. Lord knows I've used Windows long enough to figure that out. lol

I'm running 10.5.5 from your "Leopard Soup" install from a while back... is it 'safe' to update directly to 10.5.7? Or would it be easier to do a fresh install?

If you can swing it, I'd just do a fresh install with my upcoming kit, once I'm done testing it with my DS3L. Right now I'm testing both Chameleon 2.0 and PC EFI_v9 on the ES2L, DS3L, and UD3P, so 6 fresh installs total :Q

All right, I'll be waiting for your new guide.. been wanting to install iLife 09 for a while now, and finally changed my Lenovo S10e to a full-time hackintosh running 10.5.6, but it's a bit slow!

Thanks for all your hard work Kaido :)
