I'm sorry, I don't play your little game of "points" on this message board. If it makes you happy to think you won a "point", than by all means. Make your day, jump up and down and cheer, pat yourself on the back. Take yourself out to dinner. Go play with yourself for all it means to me.

I discuss points that interest me, when I have said what I wanted to say and have no futher interest in the thread, I quit.

It's fun and also interesting to see who is more interested in their little "points" and talking about that than discussing something important. It might even say something about them.

For the record. The mission of that ship and its crew was accomplised. The President of the United States recognized them in a public way. I don't have a problem with that. If some of you "people" do than join the military and stop knocking down people that recognize them for doing a good job.

Gaard, if there's one thing I've realized in my twenty years on this earth, it's that some people will do all they can to avoid eating crow, even when it is most richly deserved. Lucky for some that end is most easily achievable on the internet, where they can hurl cowardly insults and not bear the consequences. It is much easier on the WWW to declare oneself "done with a conversation" when you're not staring at a man whose son's death you just inadvertently derided.

At least some people on this board are man enough, even in their delusions, to admit fault. It is a rare trait, though I fear it always has been so.
