There is a swine flu component in every flu vaccine right?

It's just not necessarily the H1N1.

I heard it has alot of bloody pnuemonia.

there's an H1N1 component of the seasonal vaccine, and that's been the case for several years. But it doesn't protect against this strain of H1N1.

They stopped confirming actual H1N1 vs seasonal flu a while ago, so anyone with the flu is counted as having H1N1 whether they have it or not.

Outbreak in the camp I was at in summer (~10% of the people there got sent home in 1 day) then no one in school for a few days during October... Yea, I think we got hit.

People have had it and don't know it.

This just in: the majority of swine flu cases have been mild.
How mild? If that's the case, yeah, plenty of people might have had it, but just thought it to be a cold.
I was sick twice this winter (here, I define "winter" as being September - May;)), and it felt different each time, and lasted about a week. I didn't go to the doctor, because neither time was especially severe; it would've only been for curiosity to know what the pathogen was, which just wasn't worth the expense which I would have incurred.

"Study Confirms Low Mortality for Swine Flu

Few people are tested, tests are inaccurate and many people only have mild illness."

So if few people are tested, how do they really know how many people had it? :p:awe:

Yeah, I'm curious about what specific thing I happen to have been infected with.
But, you know, I'm cheap too, so these things don't go together well all the time.
Sorry, medical science. :$

And where did they get the "tests are inaccurate" statement from? Which test, and just what does "inaccurate" mean in terms of percentage wrong?
