This is the school I would like to attend. A common sense college without the PC bull shit. That's in stark contrast to many Liberalized BS colleges. And then I read this today: http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2016...s-youll-need-permit-for-that-at-nc-state.html

Watch out what you wish for, you just may get it.

From the Liberty University Code of Conduct/Honor Code (https://www.liberty.edu/media/1210/Student_Honor_Code.pdf)

No hoodies in class (page 10)
Watch out for those rated R and PG-13 movies (p. 11)
$25 fine for attending a dance (p. 13)
$50 fine for visiting alone withe the opposite sex at an off-campus residence (p. 13)
$250 fire for intentionally going to a social gathering where alcohol is served (p. 13)
$500 fine for procuring/financing/facilitating/obtaining an abortion (p. 14) Note, this is the same fine for possession or consumption of alcohol.

But, sure, you get to take your gun to class. They treat you like a real adult.

evangelical conservatives are fascists by nature. I think this kind of thought and behavior control is the type of thing JC admires.

Holy cow, is the school run by the Taliban?

I like how the punishment for what they presumably consider to be 'murder' is a $500 fine. "Oh, killed someone, eh? $500, that'll teach you."

Love thy neighbor, with deadly force if necessary.

Well hey, they at least allow women to wear pants.
...and attend.

Oh nice, they also have mandatory random drug tests. ("Hair, urine, or blood as specified by the one administering the test.")
And if you do test positive, you pay for the test.
Refusal to submit to a drug test is also in the 30-Points/$500-fine category.

I bet you love Ted Cruz too. Did you hear? John Boehner just called Ted Cruz "Lucifer in the flesh?" :sneaky:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...-lucifer-in-the-flesh-he-does-this-sometimes/

I forgot to answer this. No, I don't like Cruz. Or as Trump calls him, Lyn' Ted. LOL!

And in this election I'm considering voting for myself. Why? Because I can and the church I go to vote at is two house down. I like to go there and vote no for all the judges. LOL

But they have guns! That makes the rest of the control OK.

Let me guess, you've never been to Lynchburg or central Virginia for that matter. There's far more to the area than Thomas Roads Baptist Church and Liberty University.

I think he was referring to the fact that no city in the US should be named "Lynchburg" anymore than a German city should be named "Ovensville".

Maybe you should read up on how it got the name.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lynchburg,_Virginia

First settled in 1757, Lynchburg was named for its founder, John Lynch, who at the age of 17 started a ferry service at a ford across the James River to carry traffic to and from New London. He was also responsible for Lynchburg's first bridge across the river, which replaced the ferry in 1812.

You know, I got to wonder. Is it due to a shit school or shit students? Is a graduation rate the fault of the school or the student?

It's the school's fault.

They're supposed to educate students so they learn and refuse to admit applicants who they feel can't graduate.

Don't forget this one:

Drug Testing Program
For the protection of its students and community, the University has conducted an on- going program of mandatory random drug testing since 1988.
