why should he get a gig of 3200 when his computer wont be able to take advantage of the speed. he would be better off with 1.5 of 2100.

No, don't have any proof. This is just what I believe at the current time, and is only my opinion. He's welcome to get what he wants (1.5 GB or 1 GB), I was merely suggesting what I would do.
