Wow, Saturday were blowouts that followed predictions, and Sunday were great-game upsets.

Today is a great day for sports fans (Now waiting to watch the Lakers game in an hour)

It seemed like every time Dallas O missed a play they were smirking and laughing about
it. Huh? maybe they felt they were going to salt this game away in the 2nd half....WRONG!
nice game G-men, and let the Pack underestimate you at their own peril..

QFT. I hope the Giants are big underdogs again. I hope the Pack looks past them to the big game. .

The early line has the Giants as 7 point dogs.

I'm still flying high...I jumped up so fast and pumped my fist so high that I nearly put a hole in my ceiling.

I couldn't believe that they held them on those last two drives, especially with Geoff Pope as the starting nickel back. This win was great on so many levels...it shows that Romo is not invincible, and secondly it should finally earn the Giants the respect they have deserved since Week 3.

The best thing is that Jerry Jones, he of the "dump cable and get the NFL network on dish"
fame got to eat a big slice of humble pie. Dude looks like he's had more facelifts than
Joan rivers...Oh yea, G-men@Pack, Getcha popcorn ready!

I'm a Cowboys fan who has lived in Green Bay the last three years. Imagine my agony......at least the conflict of interest as ended for me. Go Brett!!!!!! (as Dan takes down his Cowboys flag)

My heart was pumping those last 30 seconds. What a great game. This Giants team is reminding me of the '96 Yankees. Way to go. GO GIANTS.

Awesome game. :D
Now off to beat the Pack in what looks like it's going to be single digit temps next Sunday.

Think Banks needs to do a better job of proofreading his articles before hitting that submit button?

article

Now that we know the NFL's Final Four that, here are the four possible Super Bowl matchups, ranked in order of how we see their sizzle factor:

1. Patriots-Packers -- It'd be a rematch of Super Bowl XXXI in New Orleans 11 years ago. The pairing of Brett Favre and Tom Brady -- the two most beloved quarterbacks in the league -- might be too much to take.

2. Chargers-Giants -- The Eli Manning-Philip Rivers 2004 NFL Draft Trade Bowl would give us media types one of those Super Bowl retrospectives that we love to write.

3. Patriots-Giants -- It'd be a rematch of the thriller we saw in the Meadowlands in Week 17. And I'm pretty sure neither coach would be asked about resting starters all week long.

4. Chargers-Packers -- Old Man River (Favre) versus Philip Rivers? That's all I've got, folks.

then later he writes

Doozy of a doubleheader of defeat Sunday for the Manning clan. Peyton's Colts go down at home against the Chargers, and Eli's Giants can't quite pull the upset at Dallas.

We not only lost any shot at a Manning versus Manning Super Bowl, but that Eli versus Philip Rivers Super Bowl showdown is off the board, too.

Wow, I must say, it seems like TO has became gay a lot.

I agree

Fantastic grammar there, genius. Almost as good as your clever remark.

I'm glad the Giants won, I think they'll have much less of a chance against Favre and the Packers. Packers and Patriots is only two games away from happening now.

Say what you will about TO, but that was a great display by him there. Very few other players would stand up to their teammates in the way that he did, and its moments like those that really show the bond and connection that guys have for each other--something the average fan would have no idea about otherwise..

We get it. It was lame the first time.

I agree with Syringer.
