----------- $0.99 cent shipping on ALL categories @ Newegg.com ...

I was looking for inkjet cartridges for my Epson R800. They had them for 9.99 which was great - until I put them in my cart and found they
wanted 4.99 for shipping on each. Now they are 11.99 plus .99 shipping. Unfortunately I already bought them elsewhere (only paid a few $ more
then the eggs new prices). Some of their prices are good, but charging shipping on every item when you buy lots of small stuff is crazy. I hope
they don't raise the shipping back up again.

wow, stunning ! I don't mean the "deal" but the people here and their reactions..... amazing that you don't know that newegg has been doing this all the time - playing with the base price and shipping costs without lowering the overall price - really I'm surprised there are some many morons here that don't know about this. Now newegg decided to do it for all products at the same time - big deal. Not. Unless the total price is lower then before, this is just a gmiimck, just like their usual pricing games. And be sure to notice how any hot selling items gets its priced raised within minutes. yep, newegg is like a high tech mercantile exchange......

well aren't you little ms. superiority complex... man I sure wish i wasn't one of those "some many morons here" ;-)

Ok heres my idea.....

Keep newegg the way it is/WAS, focus on a different business model for cheifvalue

CUT COSTS

A: have a restocking fee... people like me dont care because we rarely ever break stuff or change our minds

B: offer UPS and USPS... people like me dont mind the longer wait and the higher risk of damage, if its broken were not going to whine and complain and blaim it on you

C: offer less customer service.... people like me wont email you stupid questions or piss n moan about stuff, I rarely ever need customer service, offer canned responces in your emails, dont bend over backwards.. cut costs

D: ditch the pictures and customer reviews... people like me dont need pictures and reviews.... we know what it looks like, we know all about it, we know what we want

Doing all the above should cut COSTS giving you the ability to offer cheaper prices and get more customers that newegg doesnt get
So what if you piss off customers, they can go to newegg a place that will spend the time (MONEY) to bend over backwards for them
then post deals here for cheifvalue with cheaper prices

MODERATORS please dont delete my constructive post, this isnt just a forum.... remember im a customer of yours also

and yes newegg, im available for hire... LMFAO 😀

I disagree with pretty much every suggestion you have, other than UPS/USPS shipping. However, maybe they get a discount from FedEx for their exclusivity.
