    486DX 100Mhz laptop

    Linux can run on 16mb ram easy so i hear, I got an old compaq desktop, 486 DX4 100 with i think 48 MB ram in it and a 420MB hard disk. I dont know alot about laptop's as old as yours but if it will take the standard desktop 72 pin simm's i got a pair of 8mb's and a pair of 16mb's :P

    From what i can tell the only way to block printing of as mentioned, game FAQ's or e-mails, would be to block the student accounts / workstations from accessing the sites in the first place, might not be very practical tho
