Loaded windows with a step by step confirmation and said no to everything except hymem.sys. Now it says VFAT device initialization failed.

wow never knew there was so much tension between macs and pcs. :) Anyway...I guess I could try another modem....probably need to get an external one then. I just feel so lost with a Mac.

Thorin, This is the mystery...Nothing was changed :frown: Its weird, when I go to Apple System Profiler, it shows that there is no modem yet I can go to modem in the control panel and move things. Is it possible my internal modem just died? Thanks for the help.
