OUTLOOK EXPRESS 6 HELP....

My inbox only shows 1 message from the last person who sent it. I have exhausted all the settings and still can't find any settings to change it. On the bottom of the window it does however say 44 messages 0 unread. Its a weird problem and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how they fixed it.


PS Some may ask why in OT? Well OT has the best techs that actually help unlike the other forums...:frown:

So, just to clear up, Outlook Express 6.0 is showing only one message instead of showing 44 messages that should be in the inbox as well? Is that one message marked as unread? If so, what happens when you mark it as read? Does it disappear?

try view/current view/show all messages!

It could be the file "inbox.dbx" that is corrupted, or it could be the actual program that's corrupted. Both are fixable. Uninstalling and reinstalling the program won't touch your inbox and personal folders, but playing with the *.dbx files (to fix the corrupted inbox) will screw up your inbox.
