Yep, this drive is pretty dang loud. At least, compared to my Seagate Barracuda IV drives. I was disappointed in the noise levels as well.

Abit TH7-II board has Socket-478 RDRAM. GamePC has them in stock, I believe

Hate to break it to you, but that NMB power supply is one loud motha'. Can't wait until Enermax puts out a Whisper version of a WTX power supply.

I've been continually searching around the net for a decent looking MicroATX case. Most of what I find are basically generic "beige" boxes, which I'm just plain sick of. Anyone know of any decent looking mATX boxes they'd like to share information about? Thanks.

This is business, nothing new. Of course NVidia will point out the flaws. No doubt ST Micro does the same thing about NVidia products.
