Asus P4T and Adaptec 2100S Raid Controller

Anyone know of any incompatibility between the two? My system will not startup with the 2100S installed (no video output and no audible alerts). Once i remove the 2100S, all is fine. Can someone help?

I too have tried this with no luck. Just get random reboots and beeps.

I think there was a time that I experienced something like that on a RAID controller and I had to make a change in the BIOS so that the system would go to a different output location for video. I think it had something to do with initialization and if it ran into the RAID card on the PCI slot it would stop, but when I redirected it first to look on the AGP for video it was okay or something like that. Not the same controller card or motherboard, so I don't know if this will help or not.

thanks guys...i did try all bios options and all pci slots but no luck, also contacted adaptec, but still waiting for response. Will let you know if the issue is resolved.

Received email from adaptec suggesting to disable EBDA in SMOR, i will try it tonight and post if succesful.
