Wow lucky you! Mine had plenty of artifacts after modding :( Like, 10 diagonal rows of white-dot-pairs (little eyes) across the screen. At least I got a sneak preview of the 9800Pro's awesome capabilities. Really awesome and well worth the price difference IMO.

The card is good. I got the non-refurb, supposedly OEM from NewEgg at 138. It came retail-packaged. A nice big improvement over my GeForce3 TI 200. Best upgrade money I spent to date. (Especially since I'm sunk deep into FarCry...)

I don't know who manufactures them but I bought them a week ago. My experience with them isn't good. The 3 DVDs I burned -- one movie, 2 photo/video DVDs for the grandparents -- all were unreadable midway through the DVDs. I had to go out and get expensive TDKs to re-burn the grandparents' DVDs...
