    well i did all that, its just it eats up ram way to fast...somethiing in my comp is doing it, and its starting to suck...i mean at first, i had a gateway i got in 98, and it only had 128mb, i put so much stuff in that comp, and it never had ram problems.

    well, i did control alt delte to see how many programs are using most of hte mem, and i find out htat its most of the system apps that is using it. I was wondering if it was possible to somehow make it so only the important apps are used and not the ones that arent needed. i have Windows XP...

    I have 2 Geil Value Series 184 Pin 512MB DDR PC-3200 for my Asus p4c800-e deluxe. When i turn my comp on, it shows that already 300mb of ram has been used up...i only have 3 files that loads up...how is this possible?

    well, i have a computer desk, meaning there is a palce for my cpu to be in. I leave the door always open so new air can come in, but it seems like that wont work. I just took it out, and in 2 hours, it has gone down to 42C for the cpu. So, i think i jus tneed to find a place to stick it on...
