I have WMP 11. I was tried uninstalling my codecs and seeing if that made a difference and it does not. It is incredibly annoying, because if I was playing a video, I close the media player and it continues playing sound until I end process, while at the same time it sucks up resources. Have...
It is now working. All I did was reseat the ram and it was fine. Not sure why that was necessary but it appears to be working fine, but I'll plug all my components back in too and see if it works now.
Thank you, you were both correct and I forgot to plug the video card's power back in (it looked like it was in but the cord was not plugged in).
However, I plugged it back in and although the beep stopped, there is no video out. The video card was definatly plugged in correctly this time, I...
I powered on my computer and was greeted by a continous, monotone beep that doesn't end until I power off, and I get no video out. There is power, I see all the fans moving and lights come on. I know there are codes to the beep like those posted here:
Phoenix code stuff
I could not find any...
Bad news: my USB's went out again. When this happened the first time, I simply clipped the fatty black wire and all my usb's worked perfectly for like a month and a half. Today I plugged a usb logitech headset into my front usbs on my case and the SAME EXACT PROBLEM is back. I have NO IDEA...
I heard reports that some people's cases and mobo's had no room for this card because the card was either too big or the power supply took up too much space from another slot. Can anyone tell me if it will fit in my MSI K8n Plat mobo and Aspire X-Dreamer II case? I could free the PCI adjacent...
I fixed the problem! With the total lack of manuals out there for this case, I did not know you can open BOTH SIDES of this case. Simply open the non-window side that is all black. Find the 4 screws to remove on the back and pull it off.
As soon as I got that panel off, the solution to my...
Success! For those of you who have the combination of MSI K8N Platinum motherboard and Aspire X-Dreamer II case, clip the FAT BLACK WIRE on the far right of the five pin top plug that goes into JUSB#2
Thank you very much Akira34 and all of you for all of your discussion here, you have helped...
My dad is a busy man, so if you were going to write that letter GoodToGo, it might be a good idea perhaps any answer they might provide could help my dad know where to look.
Its the bright blue decorative lights on the right side I am referring to. Later on I'll open it up and see if there are any loose/frayed cords. Fortunatly my dad is an electrical engineer and can probably help. I'll let you all know if we solve it, maybe it would help others if I can explain it.
Hello. The right lights on the front of my X-Dreamer do not light up. Could it be something I did not plug in porperlyor do you guys suspect a damaged case?
I had just got off work at Amgen (big biotech firm not a computer place), and was using their gym. I overheard these two guys, probably who worked in the sciences but not computers. One was saying how his computer was running a little bit slowly and kept describing it and I knew immediatly it...
