Hello. The right lights on the front of my X-Dreamer do not light up. Could it be something I did not plug in porperlyor do you guys suspect a damaged case?

What is the light for? Power light? Hard drive activity light? Look at where the case wires connect to the system panel connecters on the motherboard. Its typical for some people putting the cable on backwards due to the fact that they are not keyed, and will cause the feature to not work at all.

The wiring on a lot of cases these days leaves a lot to be desired. Could be loose solder joint, something came unplugged, LEDs loose in socket, connector reversed, etc...

The lights for the left side, and right side have seperate connectors in that case, so maybe the power connector came loose for the right side..should be a 2 wire plug.

I have the same case and have the same problem. Also some reviews on newegg mention the same thing. Maybe the LED's are not manufactured well and just die after a while. I was thinking aout writing to Aspire about it :p

Its the bright blue decorative lights on the right side I am referring to. Later on I'll open it up and see if there are any loose/frayed cords. Fortunatly my dad is an electrical engineer and can probably help. I'll let you all know if we solve it, maybe it would help others if I can explain it.

My dad is a busy man, so if you were going to write that letter GoodToGo, it might be a good idea perhaps any answer they might provide could help my dad know where to look.

I fixed the problem! With the total lack of manuals out there for this case, I did not know you can open BOTH SIDES of this case. Simply open the non-window side that is all black. Find the 4 screws to remove on the back and pull it off.

As soon as I got that panel off, the solution to my problem was completely obvious. I looked closely and saw there was another two-pin thingy to plug in. I completely missed it from the other side because it was tucked under my motherboard. Simply make sure TWO blue-white cord two-pin thingys are plugged into the power source.

Hmm, let me try that and see if that works out. Thanks for the tip though :)
