I've also noticed that the lowest voltage they'll get to now is 1.106V. They used to go down to 1.075V or something like that prior to this and even down as low as 0.200V sometimes. So now I am even more puzzled.
Also I have not touched anything in the power plan ever except to adjust display...
I have a 3600x on an Asus tuf wifi x570. I have the latest 3001 Bios from two weeks ago and the newest amd chipset drivers from October.
Prior to yesterday my cores would enter deep sleep just fine and my c6 residency was always up there. According to HWINFO prior to this my cpu package...
I'm just going to deal with it as is. I'm not putting a backplate on the computer unless I need to upgrade or move or deep clean it. Next time I get a computer I'm going to have someone assemble it for me.
Honestly I know I get a little paranoid and freaked out over stuff easily because I...
I must have been looking up nvme drives when I wrote that I never had to remove or upgrade an nvme drive yet. I can't believe I didn't catch that. Stupid me.
Anyways: I don't want to cut too much performance I want the best multi-core and single threaded I can get because I do a wide variety...
Yeah next time I repaste I'm just going to ignore the kryonaut and try the mx-4 instead. Well I put on the new stock cooler so let's see if that'll help. It'll take like two/three days to fully "cure" right?
Could I undervolt without losing performance and actually maybe both drop temps and...
I have a 3600x with an asus tuf x570 wi fi mobo and a mattrexx 50 case.
Anyways I had a spare never used wraith prism cooler with the stock paste still and used that instead of the wraith spire. Temperatures dropped and it was working pretty good.
However I had to get into my computer and...
I haven't gotten my new cpu cooler yet but I got the fans. I installed two 140mm fans as exhaust on the top of the case but it didn't make a difference! In fact my cpu is acting just like it did and my gpu is actually idling at 31 to 33 now when it used to idle at 27 to 29.
Also I couldn't...

Ah crud really? Oh well if not I'll have them for the future. Not too worried about $8 enough to send them back. Well I might if I don't need them.
Thank you all very much for your help!
Yeah I'm going to have to get one with a backplate. Plus it seems like I have no way to open the front of my case so I only have the top and rear exhaust fans. I could probably put two exhaust fans on top or maybe an intake towards the front most part of the top of the case and an exhaust fan...
Is this good advice? (From another forum)
You can also look at the Scythe Fuma 2, its an excellent cooler as well but it's slight harder to install and takes up more room. On the plus side it comes with a backplate and currently a 5% off coupon on Amazon. I would still swap 120x25 fans with...
Right now I'm looking at getting a third-party am4 backplate from amazon, two 140mm case fans, and a new cpu cooler. I only have $100 for all this. I see that the am4 backplate on amazon doesn't work too well with stock wraith coolers but I'm planning on getting an aftermarket cooler.
I got...
