I also have an Antec PP-303X. This power supply is NOT approved by AMD. The PP-403X is approved which is a 400 Watt PSU but not the 303X.
I don't have any restart problems but I do have lockup problems so I'm getting a new supply to solve this. I wonder how many people have 303X's who don't...
My 8K7A has a problem with PCI slot 4. Win98 wouldn't install properly until I took my NIC out of PCI 4. I don't know if this is all related to you guys problems, just a thought.
I was not aware of this problem but (after reading the article) I don't think it was affecting me. My video card will post and it does give me video (I'm using it right now). My problem was windows lockups.
I think I've narrowed my problem down to the power supply. Though I'm using an Antec...
Darn, you can't insert pictures into these messages :o Oh well, wish I had a web page to post them on, but I don't. Guess I'll just have to dream about those FSB's.
You are right but I still am wondering about the socket. ZM6 is PPGA right? Can you put a FC-PGA in a PPGA socket? Didn't think you could, but I may be wrong.
I thought that motherboards with PPGA sockets wouldn't support Celeron II's because they use FC-PGA sockets. Plus there's the whole 66MHz FSB (Cel I) vs. 100MHz FSB (Cel II) issue. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the best you can do is a Cel I 600MHz.
