    Uninstall Direct X 9.0a

Try this. or here.. I've had fantastic luck with the second link and no experience with the first. Directx Buster is working on an uninstall for 9 and they are upgrading constantly. Good luck!

how to get rid of msn messenger 4.7?

What Operating System? If it's XP, Microsoft says do it this way. I've had great success going to the run command and typing the following: rundll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %WinDir%infmsmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove Click enter and you should be good to go. In Windows 2k, find your sysoc.inf...

Question about WinXP PRO "Upgrade" CD

You don't need to have it installed on the system, you just need a full version of a prior OS handy. The install will prompt you for proof and at that time you can put the cd in the drive for authentication.

Looks like somebody doesn't like TCWO :D

If he's truly done that amount of business with no prior problems then a little thing like a cracked face plate shouldn't be that terribly upsetting. I'm a reseller that deals a lot with TCWO along with a handful of other regular vendors. I've never had a problem with TCWO and I also understand...

Extremely slow restart after install of V7700

Sounds like you didn't remove all the drivers though, go into the registry, HKLM\system\controlset001\enum and delete the folder holding the drivers you want gone. Word of advice. Back up the registry first in the event you do this wrong you can at least get back to this configuration. After...

    Help with Dial up Problem

Open Outlook Express and click on Tools/Options and choose the general tab. Midway down that menu you'll see the settings for how often you want to check for messages and there will be a drop down menu below it telling outlook how to handle the connection. I'll bet that it's set to connect even...

    Question about my power supply

Power supply replacement isn't that hard and it's fairly cheap. I've always suggested box replacement over fan replacement as power supplies are a dime a dozen. If the fan is dying it's time to buy a new one. Last thing you want is to have it die when you've stepped out for a bit and you return...

When burning CD's computer slows down.

nubomb I suffered with a 4x internal for quite awhile before purchasing this yamaha last month. I've included a link to TigerDirects site for the drive and it's currently priced at $249.00 Some will call me excessivily retentive about the way I burn and avoid doing anything else but I burn so...

When burning CD's computer slows down.

First off....burning a cd is a memory sucking experience and using an external 2x is going to really drag the process out. If you are bent on multitasking while burning invest in a SCSI and you will lower your risk of creating coasters. If a SCSI is out of budget range then consider getting an...

Need to name my software company

Not to rain on your parade here Train, butttttt...do a complete search on whatever name you decide on and since you're looking for a domain name consider trademarking it. I speak from experience here after having to change my company name after a year of doing business due to a identically named...
