Only applies to Intel motherboards - if your running a 3rd party mobo the point is mute. Keep your Asus and OC away!

To follow up a bit - I am under the impression that it's not a matter of unlocking the CPU - but unlocking the BIOS in your HT compatible motherboard. As I understand it, the HT is enabled on the CPU, but the motherboard mfg's are bound by contract that if the mobo does not detect a 3.06Ghz or...
