Would I be better off with an E2140 with 4Gb of RAM or an E4500 with 2Gb of RAM?

I have an ATI Radeon HD 3850 that I just got for xmas. I think my wife would be pretty pissed if I upgraded that so soon ;) Would it be worth it to bump the CPU to a 45xx or do you think the E2140 will serve me just fine for at least a year or so?

I am going to be upgrading my machine soon (Asrock Dual-SATA2; 3700 Clawhammer; 2 Gb RAM). I usually stay lower-end and OC to get the best bang for the buck, so here is what I am currently thinking: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 Intel Pentium E2140 Allendale 4 Gb DDR2 800 (2x2Gb)...

I am thinking about getting some RAM. As an example, you can get 2 Gb of DDR2 667 CAS3 for about the same price as 2 GB of DDR2 800 CAS4. As a gamer, which would be better; the higher CAS or the higher MHz, assuming stock speeds?

Does anyone know how to determine what version of the Nvidia drivers they currently have installed?

Last night, my old Motorola SB4101 apparently died on me, so I need to buy a new cable modem. Right now I'm thinking either the Motorola SB5120 or the D-Link DCM-202. It looks like the D-Link might be faster, but the Motorola is a more trusted brand (more reliable?). Thanks for any advice!

I have recently decided to buy a new LCD monitor. I currently use a 21" CRT monitor that is 5-6 years old and I use it mostly for gaming. I was planning on spending ~$250 and it looks like Viewsonic is the way to go, but should I get the VX922 or VX924? My instinct says to go with the higher...

The rest of my system: Asrock 939 Dual SATA2 AMD 64 3700+ San Diego Lite-On CD/DVD-ROM 2x512 Corsair Value-Select DDR400 160Gb Maxtor IDE nVidia 5700LE (for now) I'm not OCing yet. I might try it at some point, but I'm more concerned with the video-card right now.

I have about $300 to spend. I was thinking about getting a 7800GT because they are around $300, but it occurred to me that my PSU might not be up for it. Does anyone have a 7800 running with a Seasonic S12-330? Should I just go with a 6800 and a new PSU, or maybe wait and get a 7800 with a new PSU?
