I have about $300 to spend. I was thinking about getting a 7800GT because they are around $300, but it occurred to me that my PSU might not be up for it. Does anyone have a 7800 running with a Seasonic S12-330? Should I just go with a 6800 and a new PSU, or maybe wait and get a 7800 with a new PSU?

anand's stats

keep in mind those are power drawn from the wall, which isn't the same as what a power supply is rated. assuming 75% efficiency for that ocz powerstream (which may be giving it too much credit), the 7800gtx is actually drawing 220 watts. and that is with a very high clocked athlon.

if you're using an pentium d or ee, your system would draw more than anand's, though.

in short, that power supply should be fine

The rest of my system:

Asrock 939 Dual SATA2
AMD 64 3700+ San Diego
Lite-On CD/DVD-ROM
2x512 Corsair Value-Select DDR400
160Gb Maxtor IDE
nVidia 5700LE (for now)

I'm not OCing yet. I might try it at some point, but I'm more concerned with the video-card right now.
