which kind of tape did you get from mcmaster? is it the "Conformable PTFE Teflon Tape" or a different kind?

check the norton protected recycle bin. (right click on the recycle bin and choose empty norton protected files.) norton likes to hog alot of space with deleted files.

well, seeing as how these processors havent been officially released, and gamepc is one of the only ones carrying it, the price is gonna be a bit inflated. hopefully, highly inflated. gamepc's overall cpu prices arent the lowest in town either. in any case, intel is just too expensive to buy...

thanks for all the help guys. i put it all back together, still no boot, reseated agp a few times, no go, and finally reseated the ram. and thank the skies above, it worked. WOOHOO!!! stupid ram slots.... something so small breaks the entire thing... well, my own fault. thanks again.
