I just checked mine with an OHM meter and it is NONconductive. Of course, if I scratched them deep enough I'm sure they would conduct, but I'm not going to.

Received mine today. Seems to be in good shape. I was worried it might get bent during shipping. Check before installing. Bent shim could = burnt CPU

defalt 2.5 fail-safe options on bios I think the guy was just making excuses about ECC Crucial - cas 2 no problems Seems I just some bad sticks, strange that both are bad.

Bad luck for me. My 2 sticks didn't work. BSODs out the wahzoo. Gigabyte GA-7DX, tried each by themselves still a no go. Fail safe settings in bios. Updated bios F6 Worked at this awhile before replying, wanted to be sure it was the memory. I'm sure now, put in a stick Crucial and all is well...

I should not have called it 2nd rate ram, It's just not a well known brand (to me). I bought 2 sticks so I'm hoping it will be great.
