I just ordered a 2405fpw. Does anyone have any experience with this monitor? I have read good things about it and it should be coming later this week. I have used a Sony Trinitron 19" for about 6 years now so I am hoping this upgrade is a good one because my Sony finally died.

Order Status: All Backordered - These items are currently on backorder, and will ship as soon as we receive stock on them. That's what Global is saying now.. I am on the phone with them now.

Global says they are getting 340 peices in today in 4 different boxes (one of which has 10). I talked to them today and they verified that my order will ship out today.

If I don't get mine from Global today, I am ordering a 4800+ I can't wait any longer with my other parts gathering dust.

I called Global and they said they are showing that a shipment is coming in today. I placed an order with them so I guess i'll just wait and see. If it doesn't ship today, I will just cancel it.

I have a question for anyone who has installed an Athlon64 or similar processor. I just ordered one, but I don't know where/if you are supposed to put the thermal compound since there is the silver heat spreader over the top. Can someone please fill me in?
