When I check system specs in Windows XP on a Sony laptop it says the processor is a 1.2Ghz Mobile Intel Pentium lll, but below that it says 795 mhz. Someone here at work told me that is the actual clock speed of the processor. Is this true?!? Doesn't seem like they would have gotten away with...

probably what is happening here then, kind of sucks. Phone lines are crappy (substation is 1 block away, but still can't get decent connect rates), and no cable internet. No way I am paying Southwestern Bell $50 a month for dsl either. :-/

Do they have to run new lines? I thought there was just some equipment that they needed to set up to support internet over the cable?

Wrangler here also around 16 mostly highway miles. Complete piece of crap as vehicles go, crappy power curve, crappy engineering, crappy transmission, maybe given another 60 years they will get it right. Alas, I will never own anything else though. :-D

Would there be a way to set up a filesharing program to put the files on an internet hard drive then I could ftp them to my system? Assuming they still even have internet hard drives?
