xp pro corrupted my drive and now my keyboard wont work outside of the bios. i started to install xp pro. it loads setup and then bam, BSOD. I restart with original xp disc in the drive and select boot from floppy. I get that screen that says press any key to boot from cd and my keyboard doesnt...

Dont get that soundblaster live...you need more sound processing power than that if youre going to game...go with the audigy 2 ZS basic version (not value) if youre looking to save some money...probably the best bang for the buck in sound

Check out Acer's 6ms 17 inch LCD. No ghosting. 400cd, and it has that sony xbrite typle display. Newegg has some reviews of it.

Thanks for the info. I'm guessing now, that the 2.4 has a 533 fsb and wont work in my 4300 mobo. I will have to check in the AM.

I guess what I am asking is. If i take the 1.7 chip out of the 845 chipset, will it work in the 845D chipset board. And will the 2.4 chip work in a plain 845 chipset board?
