KK 266. This board is just plain sexy. I bought a Soltek SL75KVX at the start of Jan,damn stable board but lacked a good layout and OC options. Two weeks ago I got the KK266, the install is easy, OC easy and am running my Duron 650 at 6 * 150 rock stable, good onboard sound and ISA to boot...
Its not the fastest of the lot, but OCs easily and is stable. As long as its cheaper than the rest its a good buy. Soltek respond well to any support needs.
For you guys that are having stability issues with multiple dimms occupied and O/Cing try setting,
=Dram timing by SPD=disabled
=Dram drive strength=Form Auto to manual
=Dram drive value=4F
this worked for me, my 650 is ticking away quite merily at 866, 6.5*133 and I have had 7*133=931 at...
sounds like your using more than one stick of ram, if your using two dimm slots try using 1 at full speed, all options on. Not everyone has instability using 2 slots but I,m damn sure I do.
just ignore via hardware monitor. Its wrong
Have any of you guys got ram in dimms 1 and 2
When I have that I can't get FSB133 without random lockups.
Post your specs guys, I'd like to see what results others are gettin with this board
Duron 650 at 7*133

Whatever you do don't
try and fill dimm slots 1 and 2, it won't OC on 133 FSB. Just get 1 dimm either 128 or 256. I've had my SL75KAV-X for about 10 days and had nothing but problems running 133 FSB, removed 1 dimm and now its great. I,m useing 1 64MB stick Legend PC133 Cas 3 but can set Cas2...
my thanks to Nikepete, but its not the nortbridge temp thats the problem. I read Anands review and he said that the soltek board would not take 2*128MB modules, but ran sweet with 1 256. Since I have 2*64 I removed 1 stick and viola, it seems to be running fine. Now I gotta see if the guy I...
Rams running cas 3 and interleave is disabled.
When running 100FSB I can set ram to cas 2 interleave 4 way no problems. But this damn thing just wont accept 133 FSB.
Theres gotta be someone out there with KT133-A board that can figure this out.
Faulty board???
have set to 6*133 and still no go, even tried using SPD for ram timings , no go. It cant be the CPU coz it has run up to 950 stable as long as I'm running 100 FSB. But won't run at 800 with 133FSB.
This is startin to p$ss me off
I'm running Soltek SL75KAV+ (133-A) and Duron 650@850 8.5*100 with no problems. But when I try to set FSB to 133 I get phantom reboots. Ram is PC133 (called Legend in New Zealand) supposed to be reasonably good stuff.
Do I have to link any bridges other than L1?
Soltek SL75 KAV-X
128 Mb 133...
7*133 rock stable at 1.65v, unfortunatly when I tried 7.5*133 no boot, not game to try upping voltage. I NEED this PC. Using a Corb rev3, easy to install and take off again and temps are 30 case, 36 core.
Pity I cant hit the magical 1 Gig.
I,d like to know myself. Your scores should have been higher than that. I set mine to 4 and the scores were 490/555, but it was'nt stable so I reset to bank interleave at 2 and cas at 2. Scores 454/502 which isn/t too bad. Best thing to do is get some top quality ram, PC 150 which will run cas...
