quik and shaga: the same "thing" happened to me last night. I heard a very extrange noise, when I opened the case I figured it out that the mb fan were speeding very very slow and making a very extrange noise. I did what shaga did, unplug and plug the mb fan connector and the noise had gone, and...
elSalmon I didn't flash the bios with the floppy itself, in fact I don't have a floppy, I use a boot cd to boot up @ command promt, then I have the awardflsh.exe and the rom file in my hard disk and I completed the flashing process in there.
I have a very weird problem, I just flashed bios to 1007 final and when I want to install asus update (I flashed with a boot up floppy) the system doesn't "recongnize" it, I mean, The systema cannot install because I haven't got an asus motherboard (but I have it !!)

Yesssssssssss people I finally fixed my "shake" problem.
It was because of the video cards, I simply changed card 1 for card 2, but this time I uninstalled drivers first, then I made the change, and finally I booted up @ safe mode, Installed new drivers and voila ! The problem was solved !!
I saw that some guy from Spain reechs 257 FSB with bus 1:1 well I am using now 211x12 = 2.53 GHZ If I goes up a litlle more my poc becomes very inestable, may be the micro ?? Mems are 2-2-2-5
If there any combination that I can use to speeds up my bus ?? like 230 or 240 1:1
Thanks again

I tried different monitors (samungs 19" CRT, LG LCD 17", Philips CRT 17") and all of them has the same problem, I mea, I think that the "monitor shake" is really really weird, because it only happens in full screen mode. I dont think new 71.89 is the solucion because Ive been tried 10 different...
