"Make sure associated services like the compatibility agent (something like that) are enabled.
A friend recently had the same exact issue, turns out his son disabled a bunch of services trying to speed it up."

I've been looking for a way to sync my contacts and calendar between 2 pc's. I came across Plaxo which i've heard of before but never tried.
I know that plaxo has evolved into a social networking type of site but my only interest is in the syncing.

The dellefi method is very easy.
There is a new ao5 bios. You may want to flash the bios before doing the osx install.
I had converted a usb flash drive to be bootable using syslinux.
Can i convert it back to being a regular non-bootable flash drive by formatting it or will that just erase the data but not the boot up part?

I have an extra UPS that is currently not being used. I read that you should charge them overnight every so often but i can't find that information now.

One thing i forgot to mention. the laptop with the issue is a vista one, my macbook pro doesn't have the issue, it finds the printer after the router is turned off then on.
Does that matter?
I have an HP all in one that is wireless and wired. My laptop connects to it wirelessly.
Every so ofter i have to power down my router and then restart it.
After i do that my laptop usually shows the printer as being offline.
I have to delete the printer then have it find it again...
