If thats US dollars, very overpriced compared to what you could order from www.newegg.com, but you'd have to put together yourself and load the os. If you can't do that, buy a case of beer and invite a computer buddy over to do it for you.

Yeah, the Xigma is compatible with both intel and amd, but you really want the retention bracket that comes with the Dark Knight. The retention bracket isn't used on AMD boards thats kinda why I made the distinction.
The AM3 boards are backwards compatible with AM2+ chips. Regardless here is what I would suggest.

The 940BE is $25 more expensive and a good deal faster. Upgrade.
DDR3 board and memory cost a lot more money while providing little benefit in games.
However, if you want to run your 4870x2 in quadfire than stick with what you have.

I personally would avoid an i7 system as it hard to get under $1000 without the bare minimum. However, if you can live with teh 4830 it the platform with the longest future by far. Bearing that I'd go with Phenom II 940BE build.
