First time posting on a forum so as newbie as they come

I having a new system built by CyberPowerpc and I would like any input on the build

I don't do much gaming but thinking about messing with it. I do quite a bit of photoshop and soon will be getting into more video editing. Basically I tend to do a lot of things at once. Ripping, burning, e-mail, spreadsheets, music etc so I wanted a more powerful system that can multi task with the best. What I'm lookin for is some input on the bulid, so any thoughts on the compatability of the system below would helpful. The price I'm at is basically where i want to be.

Thanks in advance for any input

If thats US dollars, very overpriced compared to what you could order from www.newegg.com, but you'd have to put together yourself and load the os. If you can't do that, buy a case of beer and invite a computer buddy over to do it for you.

You are a lot better off either:

1) Buying parts & building yourself (recommended)
or
2) Buying a Dell/HP and dropping in a video card (4670 or 4830, $50-70AR).

Be aware that these days you can build a nice i7 system yourself for $1000 (or less). And trust me on this: once you build one for yourself and see how easy it is, you'll never consider paying someone else to do it for you again.

Wreckster,

Looks like good system. I am not sure you need a SLI motherboard and you probably could get away with a cheaper video card.

But all in all a good system/

You may purchase this Dell i7 from Best Buy for $1k.

And you would probably be better off letting us price $800 worth of components and then paying a local $200 to build it for you ...
