I ended up with the P5B Deluxe because of a better price. It is working great!

I installed Vista 64 on the P5B Deluxe and all drivers are installed with no problems for all of my hardware. I am rolling now.

It works on my AMD 64 machine, but not on the Intel machine. I think Intel must not support it. I am going to see what controller my AMD motherboard uses and find an expansion card with the same controller.

Make sure you have the SATA drivers installed on the OS and then clone it to the new hard drive and I believe it should work. Make sure the old one is removed first so that the SATA drive becomes the new drive C. Mark H

It is the same reason that XP 32 can't see 4 GB. A 32 bit OS can only see 4 GB total. Off the top of this total comes hardware memory. What is left is what you will see in a 32 bit operating system. If you want to see all 4 GB, you need to use the 64 bit version since it can use the 4GB and...
