It's on a LAN. Maybe it's down to better hardware on the devices?

I used Analiti Speed Test WiFi Analyzer on the Shield,

I`m comparing my PC with my Nvidia Shield...

I'm using the same cable, just switching it out when needed, I wouldn't mind if it was only a few mbs, but its almost half the speed I get on the PC, compared to the shield... Do any of ya's use an audio receiver?

Well I had a go with the punch down tool with the port thats not working, cause the first two wires did`nt look like they were punched down far enough, so I punched them two down and also the rest of the for poops and giggles, hooked the ethernet cable to my PC and I`ve ethernet now!! Sure as...

The punch down tool came today, so I went and had a look the the two ports in my room and they look the same... What do you all think?? Edit: I came across this online, you think I should change it to B..and would that mean I`d have to do the whole house in B? As a general rule, T568A and...

I was thinking of looking at the known working ports, then compare their wiring with the ones that are not working? It's odd that in some rooms here, of the two ports in the rooms, only one would be "live", why would they do a half arsed job...

That's an understatement, lol. I've ordered a punch down tool, so waiting on that...

That sounds more like something I might tackle, removing the panel and doing new wires would be too much, I'd be happy if I could get all the ethernet ports working in all the rooms. I'm still on the fence at the speeds I got with the live ethernet ports... So I need to get me a punch down...

So I should just research what colored wire goes where on the patch panel and ethernet ports and once they are correct I`m good to go....

The best of all the ethernet speeds was around 90mb, I`m paying for 1gb and on wireless I get around 500-600ish on my phone...

The toner finds the port on the patch panel for my room, but does not give me ethernet, but if I plug a patch cable from laptop into the switch, I get ethernet...even with a patch cable still in the port in the patch panel, I still have no ethernet in my room.... Here`s the only labels I can...

The other router is a Netgear one, it was left there from the previous owners, it's just sitting there, !!! NOT!!! being used. I will try your suggestion, thank you.
