Umm it seems like I downloaded the wrong one, I got the express bios update. Its the first time I've ever updated you see so thanks for clearing that up :) whats the express update for then?

I got it from the Intel site under my mother board so I cant see why it doesnt work it was just a update I tried to get but wouldnt work so I had to rollback (download) my old bios.

Intel D865PERL motherboard. I tried updating the BIOS for the first time and the new copy is around a year newer then my current BIOS. Now when it rebooted it made three beeps with a little space and the beeps got louder it did this twice I think, when it booted up it was asking for a boot...

I would rather not overclock and for the RAM it depends how big the gap between better ram is.. and if its really will boost my performance so I can run D3/Hl2 Very well fps wise. I wouldnt know the changes in all the ram you can get I just know a few makes thats all.

No problem, I've never overclocked anything I know you can get programs to do graphic cards but I'm not to sure on CPU's any starter points or sites if I pick that path. I could google but that'll bring a shed load of stuff. :P

I think you have the options mixed up they are for a ati card, I cant find 3D tab or OpenGL unless I'm missing something.
