Careful, this is the first edition of the Lexar 80x, which peformed more like a 40x. You can tell the editions apart by their model number. Amazon also has the newer, faster, edition of Lexar 80x, but they charge $299, here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obi...?v=glance&n=507846

I also got the CompGeeks CD wallet. I completely agree with above post by Wampa. The CompGeeks wallet is total crap. I would not use one even if they paid me.

Why don't they state the laptop models compatible with this drive? How can they sell a drive with no compatibility chart?

I have had my $15 400w Powmax power supply for 3 years and it has never given me problems. The fan still works and blows quite a bit of air. I think it is well worth it for non-critical work like in a gaming and web surfing machine.
