Why don't they state the laptop models compatible with this drive?
How can they sell a drive with no compatibility chart?

Most of the time you can take the current mounting hardware off of your existing drive and install it on to the new drive.

A lot of time notebook manufacturers create a very slim mount that connects to the back of the drive to change which side the port is on the back.

So the only problem is if there is enough clearance on each side of the front bezel for the tray to open and close.

And of course, will the bezel's color and style match the rest of your notebook or stick out (figuratively and literally) like a sore thumb. ;)
