Im currently running 2 7800GTX 512 meg cards in SLI and they are both set at 610/1.76 on stock air no vlot mods, Idle temps are 44C full load can get up to 69C/71C so i dont see a major problem with Nvidia incresing the speed all too much. What i do find funny is the need for all these new cards...

When i go to priewatch there are 4 places that have the 512 meg cards instock, i mean they are available what else could you want? Do they have to be in a brick and mortar store? I bought mine at a local TigerDirect they have them in stock and on display.

Just curious, is the next leap in CPU tech still a year or more away? Is seems like right now the Video Cards are becoming light years apart from the CPUs which are bottelnecking the systems.

Just use a program like POWERSTRIP, you can make custom resolutions to prevent overscan, Its what i use it very easy.

They have been in stock at the brick and mortar Tigerdirect down the street from my house since i bought my 2 before they were officially launched. Sometimes a phone call never hurts sometimes the inventory online is different from there stock depending on the site.

I just sold my XFX 7800 GTX- OCs for $400 a piece, my buddy bought a 7800GT from tigerdirect for $289 after a $30 mail in rebate and its a damn good card.

All i gotta say is im glad i bought 2 of these 7800GTX 512 monsters, they are super quiet, i cant even hear them running, Furthermore there is a significant differencr over my old setup of SLI XFX 7800 GTX-OCs. If Ati gets a faster solution whether its one card or 2 i will go with it, but right...

My Default speeds when i set to potimal is 603/1.77 i can go as high as 625/1.81 when overclocking both of them.

Wow makes me think i got a bargain i paid $699 for each of mine for a grand total woth tax at $1494

Guys i bought my 2 cards on FRIDAY and the store had 9 of them in stock and more coming this week, so i think the availabilty wont be a problem. Oh ya stock on these is 580/1.73 when i detect optimal settings it jumps to 603/1.77 and it will do 620/1.81 with the stock cooling without a problem.

Nda is lifted tomorrow, and the cardfs will be widely available, I bought 2 of them on Friday so yes they do exist.
