isn't Dynamat best against physical vibrations ?, not airborn ? as far as noise goes, cork is good but the best stuff i have found is called ester foam, has a very high db/noise absorbtion ratio its not too expensive either.

you should always run your monitor at 85 if you run higher or lower you shorten its life. I didnt think the human eye can notice a difference after 85 anway so why bother going higher and shortening the monitors lifespan ?
