They are usually dual layered. Dual sided would mean you'll have to flip them over. Single layer holds 4.7GB and they usually are the silver bottom one like CD's that you buy from the stores. Dual layer means it can hold another 4.7GB which totals to 9.4GB.
I've also been buying from them for years. They've only sold legit stuff. The gold dvd doesn't always mean that it's pirated. I've had several legit gold dvd's. The gold one are usually the 9.4GB capacity one. I'm not sure what the double-reversed label thing is, but I'll continue shopping...
I guess I'm more of a manual type. I like to adjust things to my taste. The time delay thing is the simplest thing ever. Just doing a little measurement and you can figure out the ms response pretty easily. I'm not to fond of letting an auto calibrater adjust the sound like treble and bass...
Calibration is easy. Just get a Radio Shack decibel reader, it's pretty cheap and accurate, and adjust your speakers with the speaker test until all the speakers have the same output, except the sub which you adjust to your liking. Takes like 10 minutes and you'll never have to touch it again...
He said that it is currently on clearance for $1599. Originally it was for $3000.
Are you sure that the 42" for 2999.99 is an HDTV LCD? Usually, that's EDTV plasma prices.
I too had a defective one. It kept resetting itself every once in awhile. I updated the firmware and it didn't fix the problem so I returned it and bought a different brand. It seemed flimsy compared to my metal router. :)
If it's an LCD, then it's hot! If it's a plasma, then it's not too hot. I think LCD's are better than plasma cause you don't have to worry about burn in problem and lcd's are great in bright rooms cause they generally are brighter. The only drawback is that the black are generally not as black.
I hate freebizmag! I can never get the right options to get the magazine. How do you guys do it? I've gone through like 10 times in different categories and no go on playstation magazine.
I bought the M5105 too for $599. I think it's a pretty sweet laptop for the price. The only thing that is a little annoying is that the keyboard is kinda noisy when you type. It doesn't bother me too much because my desktop keyboard is kinda noisy too, so I'm use to it. Also, the Intel...
You can adjust contrast, brightness, and saturation. At stock level, it is a little too bright. The black looks grayish, but easily adjusted. It still doesn't handle divx3 very well though. It skips and I haven't seen any new firmware for it to solve this problem. Divx4, divx5, and xvid all...
Uhh....if you take a 640x480 video and full screen it at 1600x1200, you'll lose quality compared to leaving it at it's original resolution. Do that with like a small jpeg like at 320x200 resolution and blow it up to 1600x1200 and you'll see the difference compared to if you had made it...
