I just today received and installed my new HSF. My temp running RC5 all day has dropped 10C just from installing the HSF instead of the stock one. I would have to say that I am happy with the results. Easy installation, good results.

Well, I went ahead and bought it. I just plugged it into my open 5.25 bay, but I didn't put the HD in there as it isn't getting very hot. My CPU and MB temp went down 3 degrees, so not bad for $10. Thanks Fuzzmuncher, I will try taking the grill and filter off next time I turn the computer off.

I just noticed at Bestbuy that they have a 5.25" harddrive cooler. It is basically 3 fans fixed to a 5.25" drive face. It has a mounting kit to mount a 3.5" harddrive to it so the air is blowing right across the harddrive. So... Are these very effective/worth it ($9.95)? Would...

1. Find msoe.dll on your system. 2. Rename it to msoe.old 3. Extract msoe.dll from IE5.5's mailnews.cab or from Win2000 SP1 to the same location. 4. Run regsvr32 on the msoe.dll that you extracted.

This error generally occurs because of the File and Print Sharing Service. Try reinstalling those. Give me some more information about the event log error and I can help farther.
