All bets are off. I have seen these OEM microdrives for sale on ebay, half of which say they are CF-II compliant and the other half which say they are not and only work with specified devices. Nothing to help from the mfr websites.

According to the spec sheet the axim x50v has a compact flash type II slot so it should fit. The only issue is whetehr the axim accommodates the FAT 32 file system that these drives use. That I have not been able to verify.
