    Its real micron chips, MT=micron technologies, -75 means 7.5ns. Thats the same chips on crucial ddr. No idea about the other numbers or how well it will run.

    8K7A and OS Problems

    FF is normal,the agp driver to use in on the cd. The bad one is the one in the via 4 in 1 drivers. You disable onboard sound in the bios. No idea why your other drivers wont install. Goodluck.

    Its a slower setting than 3-2-2 but if your having a problem setting it to 3-3-3 to see if thats the cause wont hurt anything.

    The 1.4ghz 266 cpu works on the 8k7a fine for me. My board came with a bios dated 3-10-01.

    No idea the 365 model enermax seem to be ok at 1.4ghz. but might give touble over 1.5ghz. Depends on how many fans,hard drives,video card type & other cards you use. Its one of those individual results may vary things.

    The +5v reading is low and gets lower the higher you run your cpu speed. It gets too low and causes problems.

    On 8k7a do I set the multiplier right off the bat?

    You can leave it to auto, the switches are only needed for using a non-default multiplier on a unlocked cpu.

    The cpu's with a letter in the 1st psoition of the 3rd code line are considered better for overclocking than the ones with a number.

    Download drdos 7x form here. http://www.biosmods.com/download.php Yes you will booting from the floppy so your os wont matter.
