Has anyone tried underclocking / undervolting ryzen to lower the wattage to say full load 35 to 45 watts? A friend is wanting a 1600 or ? but wants it at a lower wattage at full load even if it means underclocking it if possible. So I am wondering is this possible ?

recovering from a triple ankle fracture which happened a year ago. this has affected my ability to ride. i do ride each day from 18 to 22 miles in about a hour. before my accident it was 70 to 80 miles per day. i have 15k on garmin in a years time
i prefer 2.5 for portable drive storage its easier for me to carry around. i would like a 4TB to 5TB one that is of quality not sure of seagate. Sorry didnt mean to derail this thread.

i dont overclock anymore so can only say i use low wattage cpus as i dont have a need for anything faster. that being said if i did find a 7700T someday i may yet find a reason to buy it but otherwise i wont. What i have now is more than adequate for my needs if I lower the wattage somehow...
