That's odd that's it's not on sale where you are. I'm guessing you're near Sacramento. My ad's good for San Jose, Campbell, Palo Alto, Fremont and Sunnyvale stores.
Too good to be true?? I got the price match, however, here are my observations with the retail box in hand:
1) Go to Outpost which has the same SKU as the Fry's ad above. They're supposedly one and the same "retailer". Notice Manufacture Part number after detailed description: TB120340001. On...
Thanks for the link. I did a search for Radeon 8500 and didn't see a post. Sorry for the re-post. I just got back from getting the card for $129 at Fry's.

Available at CompUSA for $199.99 - $70 Instant Savings (no rebate required!) = 129.99 (SKU 290812). Sold out on-line, but available all over the San Francisco Bay Area B&M (South Bay). Called Fry's Electronics to do a price match, but they quoted a price of $129 before I could even mention...
I saw this on the Big GameCube list. Thanks. Went to BestBuy in Northern California on Almaden Expressway/Blossom Hill Road. They didn't have the coupon mentioned. I asked at both entrances and at the customer service desk. There's also one in Milpitas, but didn't feel like going today. Oh well...
Woah, that's an awesome price. I paid $134.95 at Amazon after $25 rebate and $15 coupon with free shipping and no tax on 9/29/01. I sent my rebate on 10/11/01 and got it on 02/09/02!! But it has served me well and works perfectly with my iBook and Airport card.

The Epson Photo Paper I was referring to is the 4"x6" paper (S041134). Everyone who has seen prints from me on this paper can't believe it's from a printer. The paper even feels like a real photo.
I'll have to check the price at Fry's as the online price is $5.99. :Q

I'll have to check out the Office Depot in Campbell, CA (I'm in Willow Glen). I've been using my trusty Epson Photo 750 for years and it still amazes me how well photos print out. Luckily Epson made drivers for OS X for my printer. I've been using generic inks. They're as low as $3.25 now or...
