    Anyone have experience with POWERLEAP?

I also just installed the PowerLeap PL-iP3/T 1.2Ghz Celeron(Tualatin) and I've been very happy with the upgrade. The setup I have now should be good for atleast another year. Then I'll worry about building/buying a new system.

What's the fastest CPU I can upgrade to?

<< What's the fastest Celeron chip that I can upgrade to with the BX chipset? >> He asked what was the fastest Celeron he could upgrade to. Now, Coppermine 1.1Ghz Celeron or Tualatin 1.2Ghz Celeron, which is faster?

What's the fastest CPU I can upgrade to?

Not sure why you need to read the FAQs but the bottom line is that the 1.2Ghz Celeron(Tualatin) with the powerleap PL-iP3/T Slotket converter is the fastest processor currently availible for you MB. It may not be cheap(although I personally don't find $149.95 expensive) but it is your only...

Help with Celeron 'A' 1GHz CPU in MSI 6905 Master Slocket in GA-6BXD mobo please!

I just went for the Powerleap. Popped it into my machine and it works great. No problems. $149.95 for the slotkit, 1.2Ghz Celeron( tualatin) cpu, heatsink, and fan dosn't seem to pricey to me. Espicially since it's faster and cheaper then the Slot1 P3-1000E.

    Powerleap upgrade

I also just got this upgrade and I'm very happy with it. I have a BCM QS440BX mainboard with the latest BIOS and it also reads the wrong speed during post. But WindowsXp and various benchmark programs all see it properly. I oringinaly was going to get the P3 1000e but the Powerleap was...

Processor Upgrade on Intel 440BX AGPset

No, not a Dell. Mine is a CompUSA PC. The case however is one used by Dell(well, used 2 years ago). And yes I'm very happy with the benchmarks. I'm sure that I can tweak things a bit for even more performance. And yes, everything is noticeably faster. And if you checkout Madonion you'll...

Processor Upgrade on Intel 440BX AGPset

Ok, so here goes. First the MB I have is a BCM QS440BX with the latest BIOS rev. 2.10. It's about 2 years old but has been rock solid. Anyway, what I had on this board was a P3 600Mhz(katmai). Installation of the PL-iP3/T Celeron(Tualatin) 1.2Ghz was a piece of cake. Once installed I booted...
