Hey Ya'll! I've only just started overclocking and have a question. When I OC my XP 2500+ mobile to 2.4 ghz, windows boots & I can seemingly do whatever I want including gaming. However, I notice that Internet Explorer will close on me after clicking on several links...sometimes more...

Great info...and thanks for the welcome! My CPU (just purchased from newegg) is unlocked because it does change when i change the multi...however, one thing I noticed is that if I put the multi up to 13 it drops in speed compared to the previous setting no matter what FSB setting I use...

Dude, Only you decide if your a loser or not. Do what feels right for you. I didn't go and I have no regrets whatsoever. I believe the reason for that is cuz I did what I wanted which was not go.

Hey Ya'll, When you O/C this chip does it come up as an Unknow CPU in the BIOS as well as in Windows? This is what mine does and I was wondering if it is normal. Thanks.

Hey Quentin... I just got one of these chips too. How do you prove that it is an unlocked core? Just by changing the multiplyer in the Bios and seeing if it works or is there another trick? Thanks
