ok i'll give it a shot. i tired the video card at stock with the same results. maybe i should try flashing the most recent bios. don't really understand this one, i have seen alot of problems o/c'ing in my day but this is the wierdest.
i have my e6300 running at 7x505 on a p5b dlx wifi board(bios 0507), and when i load any 3dmark it hangs to a black screen. the overclock has passed orthos, dual superpi 32mb,etc and is rock solid running loops of pcmark05. but 3dmark black screens everytime after the first test. i am running my...
i am overclocking my e6300 on a p5b deluxe and have been using asus probe II to monitor my temps. when testing cpu load i run dual 32mb super pi's and run everest cpu benchmark loops in the background. but i noticed that at loaad asus probe says 55c and everest asays between 66-67c which is a...
i just upgraded to a P5B Deluxe motherboard for my e6300. everything was working great for about 5 or 6 hours then this morning the board posts fine, then seems like it abouot to boot form the hdd and then hangs at a blank screen. i tried booting off the windows cd and i get the same result. my...
well i have a zalman9500LED cooler, a very good PSU, my ram is some crucial rendition DDRII 533 but runs great at 925mhz 5-5-5-15 @ 2.25v. i also have 3x80mm fans cooling the memory. could prob go higher with more volts but at hose speeds i should hit a 460fsb provided the 975 will let me.
i am looking to get a new board to do some overclocking with my e6300. i would really like to have a board that supports crossfire, the P5WDH seems to be the best, but will it overclock well with my 6300 given the low multi?
used memset965 and changed the timings to 5-5-5-15 see if that helps. just curious i wanted to increase my northbridge volts abit but the only option i have in the bios is pci-e voltage, i thought i heard that does the same thing but it sounds fishy.
i'll try that again, usually when i do that it causes instability but i think thats more the motherboard then the ram. i just wanna make sure should i increase to 2.0v i don't melt the stuff down.
i am overclocking my e6300 on my p965 neo-f motherboard using core center to bypass the 333mhz fsb cap. i am using crucial pc4300 ram and i have gotten to 2688 mhz with the ram running at 776mhz 4-4-4-12 anything higher and the ram craps out and reboots or gives memory errors. i have the ram...
i am looking ofr a board for my e6300 and the only affordable board available locally is the P965 Neo-F(no DS3's anyhwere ). my problem witht his board is the 333mhz fsb limit since these chips can go so much higher. it seems its just caused by a crappy bios, can this be fixed with an updated...
